Downloading Content using Shareable Links
=========================================
A DBL shareable link is a **private and temporary** Internet address. The link will cause DBL to return to the person who accesses it the specific content which was selected by the creator (the IPC Licenser) who generated the link.

The creator and recipient of the link share a common **passcode**, which restricts access to the content to only individuals who know the passcode. Typically the person creating a shareable link will use the recipient's email address as a passcode. If an email address was used, you may have received a notification message informing you of the content which has been made available. The message will read like the following example:

  Greetings,

  You have been issued a temporary download link for the scripture resource 'DBL Test Version with DC'
  by [name of Licenser] on behalf of [name of IPC]

  When clicking on the link, you'll be asked to enter your email address ([email address or
  passcode]). The link will remain active for 24 hours, after which time it will be unusable.

Shareable links remain **available for access for a maximum of 72 hours** (3 days) from the time that they were created. Links will expire 24 hours after they are first accessed by the person who authenticates themselves with the passcode.

**To use a shareable link sent to you** by a DBL IPC and then **download the content provided**, complete the following steps:

* Click on the link provided in the email sent to you from DBL. If the content proivider sent you the link and passcode by another method, copy and paste the link into a new browser window on your computer.

You will be prompted for your email address (or another passcode provided to you by the DBL content owner).

* Enter your email or passcode and click **Submit**. If you are authenticated, the Submit button will change to read **Download**.

* Click **Download**.

DBL will deliver the entry contents provided by the creator of the link as a single zip file.
